Beginning in 1962, the Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation developed five dams, two reservoirs (including Abiquiu Reservoir), five tunnels, two channels, and several processing facilities. The social impact of this project has been significant, with landowners forfeiting property due to eminent domain, water drawn away from the Navajo Nation, new lakes appearing amidst several desert communities, and so on.
In this our final surveillance video, the youth escape the shards of the Continuum. Cindy and Gregory have found their friends, bringing them back to the well where the Dismantler first pushed Ace. Ace is still holding on inside this well, on the edge between our dimension and the Far Between. The youth do not know how to get her out, but Corina (an HQI agent who recently vanished into the Far Between) appears through the ether and pushes each of them back to the safety of the present moment.
As Lola and Ty wander in search of their friends, they spot something strange: a wooly mammoth! And then, a Dismantler eating that mammoth! As the shocked girls try to make sense of what they are saying, Gregory emerges through the Continuum and insists that they follow him. Ace has fallen into a hole, he says, and they need to save her.
Before the United States conquered this land, people here possessed a broad number of named cultural identities based on residence, ancestry, tribal affiliation, social status, and so on. Because the U.S. government did not possess the language necessary to understand these diverse nuances, they tended toward the wholesale categorization of the locals between simplistic terms.
Daryl and Moby were walking for some time along dirt roads before they came upon this little farm. We selected this segment because it was the most action-packed few minutes of the entire surveillance. When the two boys discovered the farm, they also happened upon a Dismantler. Daryl tried to fight the Dismantler but it simply swallowed his arm.
Transported into a past time (1860AD) Ace, Cindy, and Gregory find themselves on a Spanish-Colonial hacienda somewhere near the place in Abiquiu where they originally shattered the Eye. As they investigate the building, something happening inside one of the rooms startles them, and they run away. This is when they encountered an inter dimensional being who…pushed? Ace into a well. More than a well…she seems to be caught in a well.
What follows is footage from what looks like a Caretaker fort, set up in the Far-Between. The youth of the Eyes of Time, presumably after breaking Siegfried and Corina’s time-traveling Eye, were transported to this fort where they were admonished by a Caretaker that their act had broken our Continuum, and they had to fix it by fighting Dismantlers.
The Eyes of Time (EOT) began as a youth group, started by HQI members Siegfried and Corina under the model of our long-disbanded the Teen Time Force. These leaders volunteered their time to training a new generation for Continuum travel. However, since Corina’s disappearance in January 2018 (more on that, in following reports), Siegfried has been gradually transforming the EOT into a for-profit tourism company.
“Faraway, Nearby” was how O’Keeffe and her husband Alfred Stieglitz, in their frequent letters to one another, described their relationship while she was in New Mexico. This phrase referenced an emotional closeness despite physical distance, as well as O’Keeffe’s capacity—through the modern conveyances of trains and automobiles—for returning to Stieglitz in New York.
This presentation is about the original founders of the Eyes of Time (The circumstances that brought them together, and then pulled them apart). They are very different people, yet they tried to use their differences to create an Eye that might SEE the full Continuum. Did they succeed, or has their failure written across the shattered fragments of history?
This presentation describes the origins and nature of our sponsor organization, the HQI. We will only scratch the surface here, because to tell the full story of HQI is to tell the story of humanity. Drawing out the few storylines that belong to the organization exclusively, this presentation can show how their mission translates—perhaps more succinctly—to ours.
The internet, the latest technological revolution, has reduced the distance between every place on earth to zero. Until now, access to this technology has been restricted to consoles and computers. But another technological revolution, intent on eliminating the need for intermediary devices, may be on the horizon.
